Susan Salidor to Kick Off Wonder Works Fall Concert Series
Noted children's singer/songwriter will perform a family concert on Sunday, October 16

OAK PARK, Illinois, October 7, 2005--Wonder Works, a Children's Museum in Oak Park, kicks off its fall and winter concert series on Sunday, October 16 at 4pm with a performance by Susan Salidor. Salidor is an award-winning singer and songwriter; her first performance last year at Wonder Works nearly sold out and was well received by children and parents alike.

Her latest recording, Come and Make a Circle, received the prestigious Parents' Choice award.

The concert will begin at 4pm, and the museum will have special hours that day. Wonder Works will close at 3:30pm for non-ticket holders and will remain open until 6pm for the concert.

Salidor's show will be followed by Chicago favorite Jim Gill. Gill's concert will be Sunday, November 20 and will be a record release party.

This year, concertgoers can purchase individual concert tickets or season tickets for all five concerts. Individual tickets are $5 for members and $8 for non-members. Season tickets are $20 for members and $30 for non-members. Season tickets and tickets to Susan Salidor are on sale at the museum. Jim Gill tickets will go on sale Saturady, October 22 at 10am. The 6,400 square foot museum, located at 6445 West North Avenue in Oak Park, includes exhibits, educational programming, a retail store and a children's party room.
