Susan Salidor and Dot Kane to Take the Stage at Wonder Works Children's Museum
Concert on Sunday, March 20th is Final Concert of 2004-2005 Series

Oak Park, Illinois, March 2, 2005--Award-winning children's singer and songwriter Susan Salidor will bring a program of story and song to Wonder Works, a Children's Museum in Oak Park, on Sunday, March 20th at 4pm. Salidor will perform with Dot Kane, a storyteller.

The concert begins at 4pm at the museum, which located at 6445 W North Avenue in Oak Park. Tickets are $5 for members and $8 for non-members. You can join the day of the concert to receive the member price. The concert begins at 4pm and the museum will remain open until 6pm on this day.

Susan Salidor is an award-winning children’s music composer and performer with the heart of a teacher. Come and Make a Circle, her newest recording for teachers and kids, has just been honored with the prestigious Parents’ Choice Award and an iParenting Media Award (Spring 2004). Susan’s first recording, Little Voices In My Head (1995), received an Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Award and was named "One of the year’s five best children’s recordings" by Sesame Street Parent Magazine.

Dot’s energetic and madcap presentation has delighted thousands of children and adults all over the Midwest. With a background in early childhood education, children’s theater and dance, Dot educates, entertains and keeps the kids movin’!

This is the last of five concerts in Wonder Works fall/winter concert series. Shirley King, Fred Koch, Jim Gill and Joel Frankel entertained audiences at the museum. The Jim Gill concert was a sellout with 205 people in attendance.
