Wonder Works To Host A Children's Music Workshop By Oak Park & River Forest Symphony Cellist
Growing Ears musical workshop will feature Susan Ross on May 6

May 3, 2004 - The principal cellist from The Symphony of Oak Park & River Forest will conduct Growing Ears, a musical workshop for children, at Wonder Works, A Children’s Museum in Oak Park. Susan Ross will help children explore sound and music from noon to 1:30pm on Thursday, May 6. Participants will receive a free Hohner harmonica.

Ross is an awarded composer and has performed internationally. In addition to The Symphony of Oak Park & River Forest, she performs with the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra, Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra and New Philharmonic. Her current project is a modern edition of 18th century cello duos. In addition to her performing and composing, Ross has developed and delivered numerous music enrichment programs.

This special event is included in the price of admission, which is $5 per person. Children under one and members are free.
