Joel Frankel to Make Musical Merriment at Wonder Works Children's Museum
Concert on Sunday, February 20th Will be a Concert Release Party
Oak Park, Illinois - February 4, 2005 -Joel Frankel will bring his unique brand of musical merriment to Wonder Works, a Children's Museum in Oak Park, on Sunday, February 20th at 4pm. The concert will celebrate the release of Frankel's fourth CD, "Ship of Chocolate Chips," which was recently released on Crunchy Records.
The concert begins at 4pm at the museum, which located at 6445 W North Avenue in Oak Park. Tickets are $5 for members and $8 for non-members. You can join the day of the concert to receive the member price. The concert begins at 4pm and the museum will remain open until 6pm on this day.
A singer, songwriter and children's entertainer, Joel Frankel is a big kid who's been entertaining smaller kids and their parents for nearly two decades. By combining his musical talents with his teaching background, Frankel has developed a creative and stimulating musical performance that captivates listeners of all ages.
Frankel's first three children's albums, "Don't Sit On A Cactus," "I Can't Sit Still" and "JoJo's Barnyard Bash," have received numerous awards including the Dr. Toy Best Audio Award and the Children's Music Web Award. Frankel's song "We Go Together" was featured in the classic motion picture "Big", starring Tom Hanks. Frankel is a member of the venerable Old Town School of Folk Music faculty. His 4th CD, "Ship of Chocolate Chips," is on sale at Wonder Works.
Wonder Works' concert series will conclude on Sunday March 20 with a performance by Susan Salidor and Dot Kane.
