Jim Gill to Appear in Concert of Music and Play at Wonder Works, a Children's Museum in Oak Park
Oak Park-based children's entertainer will return on Sunday, January 16 at 4pm

Oak Park, Illinois, January 7, 2005--Wonder works, a Children's Museum in Oak Park, welcomes Jim Gill back to the stage for a family concert of music and play on Sunday, January 16 at 4pm. The museum will remain open until 6pm on this day.

Gill is, by training, a child development specialist with a Master's Degree from the Erikson Institute for Advanced Studies in Child Development. During the week he leads weekly programs in music and supported play for families with young children with special needs. Most of the games included on Jim's recordings are a product of this work which he has been involved in since 1984.

Gill will sing songs from each of his four recordings, including "The Sneezing Song", "The Silly Dance Contest" and "Toe Leg Knee".

Tickets are $5 for members and $8 for non-members. Tickets are on sale at Buzz Cafe and Wonder Works.

Sponsors of this concert include the Oak Park Area Visitors Bureau (www.visitoakpark.com) and Downtown Oak Park (www.shopoakpark.com).

Gill's show is part of Wonder Works' concert series. The final two concerts will be on Sunday, February 20 with Joel Frankel and Sunday, March 20 with Susan Salidor (with the "Susan and Dot" show); both concerts begin at 4pm.

Sponsorships are available beginning at $125 and include a mention on our web site, in the museum, through our newsletter to Wonder Works' 1,000-plus members and on the day of the show.
