Wonder Works To Be Open Additional Days During Holiday Season


Oak Park, Illinois - December 8, 2003 - Wonder Works, a Childrens Museum in Oak Park, will be open additional days during the holiday season.

The non-profit museum will be open each day from 10am to 5pm beginning Monday, December 22 through the New Year, except for December 24 (Christmas Eve) when Wonder Works will be open 10am to 3pm. (The museum is open noon to 5pm on Sundays.

The museum will be closed on Christmas Day, December 25 and New Years Day, January 1, 2004.

Normally, Wonder Works is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Beginning January 5, the museum will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays and return to its normal hours of 10am to 5pm Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 5pm on Sundays.

The museums outdoor expert, Eric Gyllenhaal, will be at the museum Saturday, December 13 and Saturday, December 27 from 10am to noon. Erics popular program enables children to explore and clean fossils and learn about the natural world of plants and animals.

Admission to Wonder Works is $5 per person and is free for members. Memberships start at $50 per year.
