Children's Museum Outing to be Sponsored by Marsh Inc. on June 22 at Oak Brook Golf Club
Oak Park, Illinois, June 2, 2005 - Wonder Works, a Children's Museum in Oak Park, will host its third annual Wide World of Wonder Works Golf outing on Wednesday, June 22 at Oak Brook Golf Club in Oak Brook.
Tickets are $225 each and $800 per foursome. They are available at Wonder Works and by calling outing chair Michael Griffin at 312.440.6903. The event begins at 12pm and includes lunch, a round of golf (tee-times by reservation from 1-3pm) and a silent auction and refreshments at the end of the afternoon. Space is limited, so early reservations are requested. Non-golfers and those not able to participate in the afternoon event are encouraged to join the group for the closing reception and silent auction from 5-8pm on the clubhouse terrace.
Marsh Inc., the worlds leading risk and insurance services firm, will serve as sponsor for the second year in a row. Additional sponsorships are available.
"Last year we raised $10,000," says event chairman Michael Griffin. "In addition to using the money for general operating funds, a portion will be used to provide free field trips for schools and groups that cant afford to otherwise visit Wonder Works."
The outing is being organized by a committee consisting of David Nikolai, Cameron Olig, Kimberly Tapscott, Elizabeth Smith, James Madura, John Harris and Alexandra Lee.
