Wonder Works To Host Second Annual Golf Outing

Proceeds to benefit non-profit childrens museum in Oak Park

Oak Park, Illinois - September 30, 2004 - Wonder Works, a Childrens Museum in Oak Park, will host its second annual golf outing on Wednesday, October 20 at the Oak Park Country Club.

Tickets are $250 each or $1,000 for a foursome and are available at the museum, which is located at 6445 W. North Avenue in Oak Park. The event begins at 11:30am and includes lunch, a round of golf on the Donald Ross-designed course and a silent auction and refreshments at the end of the afternoon. Space is limited, so early reservations are requested.

Marsh Inc., the worlds leading risk and insurance services firm, will serve as sponsor of The Wide World of Wonder Works Golf.

"We hope to raise $10,000 this year, or about twice as much as last year," says event chairman Michael Griffin. "In addition to using the money for general operating funds, a portion will be used to provide free field trips for schools and groups that cant afford to otherwise visit the museum."

For more information, contact Michael Griffin at 312.321.7771, or board president John Harris at 708.227.5313. Or call the museum at 708.383.4815.
