Children's Museum To Host Song, Art, Food and Animals in an Earth Day Celebration

Oak Park, Illinois, April 15, 2005--Join Wonder Works, a Children's Museum, to help save our planet, or at least explore creative ways we can help. All weekend long, meet organic farmers and buy produce, pet live animals, seek and find endangered species, make your own recycled paper and much more.

The Earth Day celebration kicks off on Thursday, April 21 with a visit from Hamill Family Play Zoo and continues through Sunday, April 24. The Trailside Museum, Jamba Juice and Seven Generations Ahead will also participate. A complete list of Earth Day activities is listed below and on the Wonder Works web site at www.wonder-works.org.

"Maybe the next generation will do more to save the planet," says Executive Director Elizabeth Smith. "If we make it fun and raise their consciousness early in life, hopefully children will also urge parents to do more to help the environment."
