Dinosaurs Live At Wonder Works On Saturday, November 8
Discover the past with a day devoted to your favorite prehistoric creatures

Oak Park, Illinois - November 3, 2008 - Dinosaurs are back at Wonder Works, a Children's Museum in Oak Park, on Saturday, November 8 from 11am to 4pm for a day of discovery and fun. Dino Works takes a step back in time to the prehistoric era and looks at the time when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. Meet a live alligator and other animals that lived alongside dinosaurs with Jim Nesci, build your own dinosaur, dig for fossils and make a volcano erupt.

Dino Works welcomes area scientists and dinosaur lovers for a show and tell. Jim Nesci will have cold-blooded creatures whose ancestors lived along side the dinosaurs at 3pm. Jim addresses the relationship between reptiles and dinosaurs in his presentations. Children and adults alike are treated to exciting and useful facts about a misunderstood group of creatures. Children can meet and touch Lucky the Alligator, Al the Tortoise, a Monitor Lizard and a Reticulated Python.

Activities will continue throughout the day. Children can dig for fossils of dinosaurs, build their own dinosaur, play Dinosaur Safari and participate in other fun dinosaur related games. Admission is $5 per person and free for members and children under age one. For more information, visit www.wonder-works.org or contact the museum at 708.383.4815.
