Donuts 2011

Wonder Works will be making the Donuts at the Oak Park Farmers Market on July 2, 2011! Every year Pilgrim Church selects a number of non-profit organizations to come and make the donuts for the Farmers Market as part of fundraising efforts for the non-profits.

Wonder Works recruits about 40 volunteers each year to participate in this fun and messy donut making experience! Wonder Works staff will arrive around 3am to begin the donut making process; our first group of amazing volunteers will arrive around 4am with our last group leaving around 2pm. We do everything from mixing the top-secret dough mix to working the donut-making machine, flipping the donuts in the oil to powdering the donuts with powdered sugar or cinnamon and sugar to packaging the donuts and finally selling them for you to enjoy!

In order to make this year a success we need your help in making the donuts! Shifts and donut-making skill levels are for beginners to experts! We have shifts available starting at 4am through 11:30pm. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping with this important event, please contact Wonder Works for more information and scheduling.
